Fall in Grass Valley part 2

Monday, October 25th, 2010

Following the storm over the past weekend the air is full with the cacophony of leaf blowers in Grass Valley as people work to clear up the multi colored leaves dropped from the trees.

Some trees were stripped of their leaves by the storm and so although some trees have still not shown any fall color yet, some are already bare for winter.

Walking around the Hennessy and Empire Manor neighborhoods on Saturday October 9th there were trees just beginning to turn, some completely turned, and some that were already shedding their colorful leaves.

Here are a few more photographs of the exceptional Fall Color in Grass Valley.  The tree at the front of Hennessy School is putting on an amazing show, and providing visitors entering downtown Grass Valley from the freeway with a very colorful welcome.  Meanwhile, driving along Race Street from Memorial Park to South Auburn one is treated with an explosion of fall color in the treetops.
